Prepare for a very early departure time for this 13-hour private excursion from Delhi to Agra. You can choose to be picked up from the airport or your hotel at 2:30am. In your private car, relax and take a seat. It takes roughly three hours to get from Delhi to Agra.

Before you go out with your guide for a tour of the gardens, take a moment to admire the stately palace's magnificent appearance beneath the lovely rising sun. Following your tour of the Taj Mahal, you will be taken to the neighbouring Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent castle made of red sandstone encloses the imperial palace of the Mughal emperors behind its 2.5 km-long enclosing walls.
It has several fairy-tale palaces, including Shah Jahan's marvels the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, audience halls like the Diwan-i-Khas, and two exquisite mosques. You can either visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb or Agra Fort.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
